David joined CITI as Managing Director in 2007,with responsibility for Investment Banking in West and East Africa together with Ukraine and Kazakhstan
Prior to joining CITI David was a Senior Managing Director with Deutsche Bank based in Moscow with responsibility for M&A and Coverage throughout the CIS. During this time, David advised on many high level cross border transactions including BP's joint venture with TNK for US$5.6 billion, the acquisition by International paper of Ilim Pulp the restructuring of BBH, the sale of Krasny Vostok to Efes the sale of Multon to CCHBC the sale of Delta Credit to Soc Gen, and advising EADS on its investment into Irkut
Prior to this, David was with Nomura International where he was responsible for Investment Banking in Sub Saharan Africa and was based in Johannesburg for 5 years. He was involved in a wide range of transactions across the continent

Prior to joining ADB in June 2003, he worked for 12 years in the Asia-wide limited recourse project finance industry in Singapore as Director at BNP Paribas and as an Associate Director at Deutsche Bank. During this time, he led financial advisory and debt arranging teams for private sector infrastructure projects in the oil, gas, petrochemical, power, water and transportation sectors. From 1983 to 1991, Mr. Wermert worked in the municipal bond origination teams of Northern Trust and Kane, McKenna and Associates in the Chicago area. He holds a Masters in Public Policy from the Harris School of University of Chicago and a B.A. from Columbia University in New York

Yutaka Ito

Prior to joining the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Mr. Ito served for years at the Japanese Ministry of Finance and Financial Services Agency. He also contributed to the success of the Industrial Revitalization Corporation of Japan, which played a vital role in bringing the Japanese economy out of a 15 year-long recession. Arman Moldakhmetov is the Managing Director of the Branch Office in Kazakhstan. Before joining PBN, Arman served as the Deputy Chairman for the Kazyna National Innovation Fund. Previously, he was Head of the Permanent Secretariat for the Foreign Investors' Council under the President of Kazakhstan, and following that he was Head of the EBRD office in Astana. Arman began his distinguished career as a Commercial Officer in the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Almaty. Arman graduated from Moscow State Agricultural Academy (BSc) in 1993. From 1994 to 1996, he studied at KIMEP (MPA). He was a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow at the University of Washington, Seattle in 2005-06.
